I'm posting this in memorial of my puppy Buddy.
Buddy passed away in March of 2005 from Parvovirus when he was 4 monthes old. He was basenji/pit bull/australian shepherd mix and was the best dog ever. He was sooo smart it wasn't even funny. He was potty trained and house broken in less than a week after I got him at age 8 weeks. He knew every single basic obedience command and followed them relaibly by 10 weeks. By 12 weeks, he knew simple tricks like roll over, paw, beg, speak, etc. From 14 weeks until death, we were doing such complicated tricks for a puppy that young it wasn't even funny. He knew left from right, he retrieved objects by name on command, he scratched himself on command and even stuck his tongue out on command. I loved him when he was alive, and he will always be with me as my guardian angel puppy. Even though his body is dead, peacefully laying in the backyard next to my cat, he is alive in spirit and is always present to influence my gsd puppy Rosie who is now 4 monthes old. I can relax now because now that the first 4 months are over, I don't have to worry that history will repeat itself. |

RIP Buddy.
It's never easy to lose them, especially at such a young age.
