The Long Weekend
Just wondering what everyone is up to this long weekend? Anything exciting planned?
I think I am going to take Spencer & Sydney back out to the Arboretum tomorrow morning for a nice long walk through the park, they seem to really enjoy it there. Aside from that, I am not doing anything special or exciting.

well I"ll be moving the daughter boyfriend to Ottawa to start the school year, get caught up on some yardwork, take Brina for a swim and hike a few times, Hubs is working so I won't be going too too far, we have gay pride here this weekend, I love going to help out and lend support there. I have to go pick up and transport about 150 pounds of apples for my deer and put in my winter supply of critter food. and I want to put up some tomatoes, dills and beets.

Was goiing camping, that got changed.
So now its dog show around lunch, then to a friends place for a BBQ & seafood kitchen party! Mom is having family over Sunday i believe for my birthday party, and maybe, just maybe I'll get monday off work

well tomorrow I think we are going to do about 8k or so in the high end of gatineau park, then on Sunday I think we are doing a bike tour and then on monday if we are not dead i think we are doing a 5-6k hike .

We will probably park at champlain and then start off from there, there are lots of trails that snake up and across each other. The one we took on tuesday was really nice so we wanted to start on that trail and then continue on.

That's a really nice area. In my hiuking class, we did a night hike through there. There is a cabin a few km in that we stopped at and had dinner.

Well, I do get Monday off work, and dh went camping in the mountains with son and DIL and her whole fam damily. I have some contract work to do, and housework, and hopefully I can catch up on some sleep.
 So why do you guys have a long weekend? And Treener, I'm sorry but that does NOT sound like a relaxing weekend!

Nothing much here.
Bought my plane ticket, and a new purse (I hate buying purses) tonight. Willow's getting a bath, and the apartment is getting in ship shape tomorrow. Then some R&R for the next two days!!!!
