Default Our family has grown!
Hi,
I haven't been around for a little while... we have a new addition to our family.

Georgia Catherine has arrived! I went into the hospital on Thursday the 12 and after a full day of labour and not enough dilation, her heart rate became inconsistent and we had a C-section. She was born Friday July 13.

I'll leave this pic up temporarily ...

oh she is beautiful!!! and so alert, how are you feeling?? I just love her name!!! congrats to the family. now...by any chance, do you need daycare in Cornwall? *L*

Thanks! I am tired and trying to rest... but there is so much to do with a little one in the house. We were 5 days in the hospital, so being home is great. I WISH I were nearer to Cornwall... I have a year off, but after that I'll need to find care which isn't that easy!

Sam and Maia are adjusting... they want to lick her and smell her all the time. They aren't jealous (yet)... just interested. My mom doesn't like them to lick her; I'm okay with the occasional tongue swipe, but not full baths like they'd both like to do! They do get a bit concerned when she cries, but I think things will be okay.

*L* Brina wants to mother all the babies when they cry, daycare is so hard to find anymore, try a govt social service listing. Thats who I work for

Congratulations! She's gorgeous! I'm glad to hear all went well (after the 24 hour labour - that had to suck). Wishing you sleepful nights. At least when you have to get up in the middle of the night you'll have company!
