Exclamation 11 Year Old Golden Needs Help ASAP

This email came tonight, if anyone can help please email me or send a pm..I can't take him but I hope someone can help.

I just gotta ask because we never know....do you know anyone who's looking to adopt an older golden ? I have to place an 11 yr old male golden, nobody want to foster him because they know they might end up keeping the dog if nobody wants to adopt him . So I'm trying to place him directly into a family. His name is Woody, 11 yr old, neutered, shots up to date, healthy, loves kids / cats/ dogs. The lady will try to e-mail me a picture. I'M talking about him to everyone I know, maybe someone knows someone who would be interested in this boy. Thanks.

That's so sad. If I knew where he was located I might be able to help a bit more (or even foster).

That is so sad! I too hate to see the elderly dogs in a shelter. Do you know what happened with his owners?

I hope he finds a home where he can live his last years in happiness & love.

Woody has a forever home this email came tonight..
Hi Lorie, just to let you know my coworker is picking up Woody tomorrow and will try to swing by the office so I can meet him. She and her family are very excited. I'm so glad I found someone who could see past Woody's age.

WOO HOO Woody!

Oh that's awesome!!!!! It seems like the older dogs are so much harder to place - I'm so glad that Woody is going to a forever home.
