Default Yey for toys! (For humans, that is...)

I dug out my old polarizer and it's accidentally the right one for my digital camera! What are the odds!?

Check out the blue skies! Yey!

And just a gratuitous Jems and Boobs staged shot added in here just because I can...

Just to give you an idea, if you don't have the polarizer turned the right way, it doesn't work at all, (it's like it's not even there) and you get this:

Yey for blue!

I'm gonna have fun next time I go to the beach.

Those pics are great. What camera do you have? We have blue sky like that here today too, although I don't think I have a polarizer for my camera.

Those are awesome pictures Prin! What exactly is a polarizer??? I can definitely see the difference, but how does it do that??

I learn something new from you everyday Prin lol.
I knew about polarizers though...but I wouldn't have a clue how to use one.
One day when I get my new Canon I guess I will learn...and have to buy all sorts of fun lenses.
I see my niece and nephew are looking as shiny and beautiful as ever.
Who knew your doggies could have so much family eh? And nation wide!

I have a Rebel XT...

A polarizer is a filter that you just screw onto the end of your lens (like a UV filter only for a different purpose ). I'm still getting to know mine because you can't really experiment with 35mm unless you're rich... Like today, I learned that when you turn the camera for a vertical shot, you also have to turn the polarizer.
