My heart was breaking!!!
Yesterday Shauns Mom and Dad came to take Monty to stay with them why we are in London, I think he had known something was up for a couple of days as he had been a big suck!! I packed him a suitcase bigger than ours LOL with all his fav things including his fav bear that I had lovingly sewn up after he chewed it to bits. They came and they were really good with him, if i could think of two people I trust more in the world to look after him its them. But it was all too soon and htey wanted to head back home. so we packed his stuff into the car and I wouldnt let go of him he kept kissing me and would let go!!
Finally they shut the door and he was crying and wailing at me through the window, I started crying as they drove off he was WAAIILLLINNNG as he watched us walk off. When i got upstairs I lost it i was crying I felt like a part of me was gone!! I wanted to call there cell phone telling them to bring him back and calling england and sying im not comming!! I thought that I would relish this time to myself being able to leave my undies where i pleased and having some peace, but man is this hard, i was miserable all day yesterday and im pretty sure that Shauns parents were peeved at me for keep phoning, they said that he had gotten into a state and that he was sick in the car but hed soon calmed down and he was having a whale of a time up there runnung around the back yard. Guess this is what it feels like being a Mommy !!! LOL Anyways guys my flight leaves this evening and I wont have internet so see you in two week

OMG! I can feel your pain! I HATE going away... I especially hate leaving Maximus with ANYONE other than Keith and I. I hope you have safe flights and a great trip!! I will be feeling like you as I leave to be in Florida with my parents for my fathers knee replacement
 Not only will I be leaving Maximus for a few days, but Keith too

I know EXACTLY how you feel CV! When we left Diego for our China trip, we couldn't stop talking about him for days. I was feeling awful during the entire flight to China. But hopefully you'd have a great time in your home country!

It's tough to leave them behind. I think we missed the dogs worse than anything the last time we went anywhere without them!
 I'm sure they'll take excellent care of Monty - and he'll be really glad to see you when you get back!Have a good trip!!!!

Oh yeah hes gonna have a great time, I only hope that they keep up his training commands as he has been so good the last couple of weeks, In his suitcase as a 3 page handwritten letter about all the training even yesterday when they were there I could see him trying his luck to see if he could dominate them. But he is in VERY good hands!! I just miss him like crazy thats all. thanks for your well wishes everyone, Angeleyes my thoughts are with your dad during his surgery hope all goes well!!

Last time Lissa agreed to babysit Diego for the long weekend, I printed out 3 pages full of his "routines", emergency contacts, vet name and address.
You know what happened, he didn't even want to come home after 3 days with Dodger! He was soooooooo depressed that he laid low for 2 days. LOL So don't you worry, Monty will be fine!
