Post hello....

My name is Rob, and I unfortunately do not have any paws to heart.
I was brokenpaweded(e.g. broken hearted) when my 3yr old beautiful black chowchow(casie) was hit and struck by a car in the week hours of the A.M.

She suffered pretty badly, and I feel even worse for trying to hold onto her for one of what I would call 'the longest weeks of my life', but the vet said she would be ok, but I know she wouldn't.

She basically bloated and was rotting from the inside out so I had to put her to sleep.

So, it has been a little over a year, and just about the only thing 'pet' that I have in me, are my 'pet peeves'

So anywho... just as this introduction reads, yes, I am filled with many mixed emotions. happy, sad, happy, sad; so sorrrrry if you are sad now too.

<!-- The End --!>

So sorry to hear about Casie. We can all sympathize with how hard it is to lose a beloved pet.

Welcome to the board!

Awww an0n! I'm so sorry about Casie... I found that getting Maximus really helped after my poodle Suzy passed on.

Welcome to the forums! I have a funny feeling that the ladies here may not leave you alone... especially considering those pecs in your avatar **bad Angel**

I'm glad you decided to join us... we can always use some of that humor you have.

the loss of a pet is one of the saddest things, and hardest to get over, they depend on us for everything, hopefully soon you'll feel up to rescuing a much deserved dog, it won't replace Casie but will help you heal and fill a hole in your life.

Yea, It was pretty rough. She would wimper, wouldn't/couldn't move. I had to carry her everywhere, and when I would leave the room just to say; go get something from the fridge she would cry.

I really wanted to take it out on the vet because they should have put her down that first day.

hoooooold me

*ugh* Suzy... don't even get me started. That was my moms champion breed chow that she had to put down because they did not allow pets in the apartment complex they were moving to when they migrated from Jersey to Florida.

My god, what a sad day in thought.

ps.s - Just like the Boob-o-meter tool, I call them 'man boobs' seen one seen em' all.

To be honest with you, it's always hard for me to even get close to a pet ever since the smartest mutt in the world(champ) got so old that my dad had to put him down. Man, that dog was genius. Really! For example, what dog do you know of, that teaches themselves to pull a chair out from under a table, sit up on the chair, pull the plate from the middle of the table, and eat porkchops for dinner. *cough*my fricken porkchops*cough* hahaha

oh, and for you ladies (and so Angeleyes doesn't have to take my word for it. read your DP PM)
