Default Some New Pics

Ok so here are some new pictures for you.

This first one was of Sydney.

And this was the critique on it.

POW!!! a BEAUTIFUL image, jennifer! you really captured an arresting expression from sydney --she looks like a very old soul! and her yellow eyes and black mascara makes this even more amazing! GREAT composition, nice shallow dof, and gorgeous light and catchlights, and color balance and color saturation! and super clarity! I wouldn't change a thing!

This was my 2nd submission, this is Zoe, my Dad's dog.

And this is a picture of Spencer that I didn't submit but I figured that I need to add a picture of him on this thread. My problem with him is that the white strip overexposes on his face. The camera sees the dark on his face and thinks that it needs to lighten things up (when it really doesn't). I am still working on perfecting my settings fo rhim.

Oh and FYI "dof" is Depth Of Field which means how clear the background is. The one of Sydney is very shallow.

Beaglemum, those are just gorgeous!! I am super amazed at how clear they are....I really would love you to be able to do some of Brina....those are amazing, it's so hard to get a detailed picture of a black dog

Those are great photos!

Zoe is a Shitzu, right? It's funny, I know some folks here with a shi named Zoe.

Yup. They originally said Shi/cocker mix but the groomer says she is more like shi/lhasa mix.

Melinda: I totally know what you mean about it being difficult to photograph black dogs, I am actually reading a book right now on dog photography. I think maybe after I get more experience I would like for my hobby to head in that direction.

Wonderful pics. I LOVE the first one and the look that baby has on it's face.
