I'm a live long dog lover, but it's only in the last few years that I picked up a bit of common sense and started working to help dogs (and occasionally cats). I have three rescue dogs of my own, and help out in a kennel with a wide variety of dogs, including a few rescues with issues. I also do a lot of research on a variety of behavioral issues, for my own pack, for the rescues and a bit of freelance writing too.
