Hi there!

My name is Hazel and I was born on February 27, 2005.  I am a pewter Newfoundland, although lots of people think I am a St. Bernard or a Great Pyrenees.  I have a natural instinct for water rescue and will save you if you are drowning. I get to go to work with my dad everyday and meet lots of people.

My favorite things in the world are food, my mom & dad, my brother Malone, my cousins Parker & Lexi, and playing. I am very friendly, but my mom and dad say that I can't be too excited around kids or they might get scared because I'm so big. I don't think I'm big- but I do seem to have a lot harder time fitting in my mom's lap than I used to.

I love to chase the squirrels in my backyard, and my mom lets me watch for them through the living room window.  She calls it "Squirrel Vision". When a squirrel comes into my yard, I run as fast as I can to the backyard to see if I can catch it.

I love to swim and I can swim for a long time before I get tired. My mom says that when I am bigger, I will be able to swim for three hours pulling a boat. I also love to ride in our boat, but my mom is always worried that I will jump out so she holds on to my tail. Mom's are silly.

My favorite game with my brother or cousins is tag. We each take turns chasing and being chased, but sometimes we don't watch where we are running and run into things.

I really like little dogs and will lay down so that they can jump on me without worrying about getting squished. My cousin Lexi tries to see how much of my head she can fit in her mouth, but she is little so she can't fit very much.

I love to give kisses and hugs, but I have to wait until my mom or grandma are sitting down to give them a hug because I knock them over.

My mom says that I am very pretty and I hope you think so too.
